Student Garden

Student garden

The Norton Elementary student garden is where earth and life science lessons come to life. Starting in kindergarten and progressing through sixth grade, students use the garden as a science lab where they learn how society can reduce its impact on the environment. From soil testing to growing fruits and vegetables, the student garden allows children to apply the science concepts they learn in class to potential careers. Fruits and vegetables grown by students are then distributed to Norton Elementary families.
